For women who prefer a group atmosphere or wish to attend with friends, ELGCC offers a variety of clinics at various times throughout the week.

The Ladies Clinic Schedule is as follows:

A specialised Ladies Learn to Play Course runs for 6 consecutive weeks. This program is designed for players of all levels from beginners through to advanced. There are 3 different groups catering for all levels

Level 1 - Emeralds Beginners Class "Learn to Swing the Club"
Level 2 - Rubies Intermediate Class "Learn to Play the Game"
Level 3 - Diamonds 9 Hole Playing Class "Learn to Reduce your Score"

 

Emeralds Beginners Class
Level 1 -“Learn to Swing the Club”

Level 1 classes are for women completely new to the game or who have just begun to play. Our intention is to show you the foundation for a good golf swing which will enable you to hit the ball into the air with confidence. All equipment is provided; all you need to do is turn up. At the end of this program our qualified PGA/ALPG Golf Professionals will assess your level and recommend your next step.

o Sessions are 1 ½ hours each week
o Ratio: 1 coach to 8 students
o All range balls included
o Ladies golf equipment provided (if required)
o A minimum of 3 students are required for the course to commence
o Payment is required on booking.
o Cost is $299 per person

 

Rubies Intermediate Class
Level 2 - “Learn to Play the Game”

Level 2 classes are for women who have played some golf and are interested in playing more often. All areas of the game will be taught including driving, chipping, bunkers, and putting. We can provide you with all the equipment you need, just turn up. At the end of the program our qualified PGA/ALPG Golf Professionals will assess your level and recommend your next step.

Diamonds 9 Hole Social Playing Class
Level 3 - “Learn to Reduce your Score”

These classes are for women who are playing golf regularly and are competent on completing 9 holes. Each week we prepare you with a short golf clinic and warm up on the driving range before you tee off. We then assist you on the golf course for part of your 9 holes and help you with course management, rules and etiquette of the game. This is a great stepping stone for ladies wishing to take their golf to the next level and is suitable for club golfer ladies who need a refresher course. Our qualified PGA/ALPG Golf Professionals will asses your level and recommend your next step. Payment for the 4 week class includes playing in the monthly Gala Golf Day.

o This program is available any day by arrangement.
o Sessions are 2 ½ hours.
o Ratio 1 coach to 4 students.
o Green fees and range balls included
o Payment is required on booking
o Cost is $200 for one person

$100 each for two people
$ 70 each for three people
$ 60 each for four people
